Our Location: The Manor

The Manor is a sprawling, once abandoned, once opulent, gilded age manor. The design of the house was conceived in 1912 by Carrère and Hastings for William Boyce Thompson, a copper mining magnate, who was at that time one of the ten wealthiest people in the world.

Since its construction, the house has been a nunnery, a school, and an abandoned mansion left to the elements, as well as a location for films including The Royal Tenenbaums, Mona Lisa Smile, A Beautiful Mind, and many many others.

Most recently it has been home to You Are So Lucky, what Vogue calls "New York’s Most Epic Mini-Festival."

The house and its 72 rooms will play host to our immersive installation White Lights, with hidden rooms, dance floors, a secret speakeasy, and worlds upon worlds to discover.
